< hearts flutter down like snow >
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! cheers to the day of love! I was originally going to do a post about how great God's love for us is <3 how all-consuming and beautiful it is. But instead, I felt like giving romance book recommendations lol.
To start off with, we have Tell Me How the Wind Sounds by Leslie Davis Guccione

Anyone can hear the language of love.
This book was my mom's. It has been read many times, and the edges are torn and frayed, the cover is bent, and this book has been very loved. It is the definition of a pure romance. There are two perspectives, and we follow Amanda as she spends the summer on a small island off New England.
During her adventures on the island, she meets Jake, who is the cute son of a fisherman on the island. however Jake is deaf, and wants nothing to do with her. SHE LEARNS SIGN LANGUAGE so she can TALK with him?!?!?!? like what?!?! perfection.
The Summer of Broken Rules by K. L. Walther

It's all fun and games till someone loses their heart.
This was my first K. L. Walther book and will definitely not be my last, it was a perfect combination of fun, love interests being adorable, and heartbreak. This was also the first book I ever tabbed! I am planning on going back and annotating it one day soon.
We follow Meredith as she goes to the annual family vacation to Martha's Vineyard. She is determined to reconnect with life after drowning in her grief for a long time. and tells herself that she will do whatever her sister would do. but then she gets unexpectedly dumped by her boyfriend.
Getting sucked into a game of Assassin (yes, it was highly entertaining to read) and learning there is going to be a wedding and (somewhat defiantly hot) groomsmen. So when she forms an alliance with one of them, she finds herself getting distracted from the game of assassin.
She can't help falling for this mysterious groomsmen hehehehe
P.S. I Like You by Kasie West

Signed, Sealed, Delivered...
This book holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first books I read that was recommended by a good friend of mine. lol just looking at the cover brings back so many memories, both good and not <3 however the book itself is amazing
While spacing out in Chemistry class, Lily scribbles some of her favorite song lyrics onto her desk. The next day, she finds that someone has continued the lyrics on the desk, and added a message to her. Intrigue! Soon, Lily and her anonymous pen pal are exchanging full-on letters -- sharing secrets, recommending bands, and opening up to each other. Lily realizes she's kind of falling for this letter writer. Only who is he? As Lily attempts to unravel the mystery, and juggle school, friends, crushes, and her crazy family, she discovers that matters of the heart can't always be spelled out... Kasie West brings irresistible wit, warmth, and sparkle to this swoon-worthy story of love showing up when you least expect it.
Sunkissed by Kasie West

I read this last summer as a bookclub I am a part of read it! I really enjoyed it it was a cute short easy to read romance that I loved!
Avery has always used music as an escape. But after her best friend betrays her, even her perfectly curated playlists can't help her forget what happened. To make matters worse, her parents have dragged her and her social-media-obsessed sister to a remote family camp for two months of "fun." Just when Avery is ready to give up on the summer altogether, she meets Brooks--mysterious, frustratingly charming Brooks--who just happens to be on staff--which means he's off-limits.
What starts as a disaster turns into. . . something else. As the outside world falls away, Avery embarks on a journey of self-discovery. And when Brooks offers her the chance of a lifetime, she must figure out how far is she willing to go to find out what she wants and who she wants to be.
What Happens After Midnight by K. L. Walther

And last but not least, we have this book by the romance queen! I read this book at the start of my senior year. It was weird because for the first time, the characters were struggling with the same things I was.
Lily Hopper has two more weeks until she's officially finished with boarding school. With graduation quickly approaching Lily is worried that she's somehow missed out on the fun of being in high school. So, when she receives a mysterious note inviting her to join the anonymous senior class Jester in executing the end-of-year prank, Lily sees her chance to put her goody-two-shoes reputation behind her.
When Lily realizes the Jester is none other than Taggart Swell, her ex- boyfriend, she's already in too deep to back out. Lily might've dumped Tag, but she still has major feelings. Plus, his brilliant plan to steal the school's yearbooks, targets none other than Lily's prom date: the Senior Class President, Daniel.
As the group of pranksters hide cryptic clues across campus for Daniel to find, Lily and Tag find themselves in close quarters. As the exes dodge Campus Safety guards, night owl teachers, a troop of freshmen, and even Daniel himself, new sparks fly. But old hurts and painful secrets refuse to be ignored. And with graduation on the horizon, Lily can only hope that breaking the rules will help mend her heart.
Read good Books and drink caffeine!
