Hello everyone!
Welcome or welcome back to my little corner of the internet where I mostly talk about books and writing <3 Today we have a very fun post.
I have an issue with my TBR, it tends to be overwhelming, and as a result of that I put off reading it only to add more. It is an endless cycle.
I am doing everything in my power to finish it by the end of 2025.
Honestly, I am finding some of my all-time favorite books through these posting series and can’t wait till the next one.
I’m a chronic series starter, not finisher, starter. I always get scared about the ending of series because what if I don’t love it as much as I loved the rest of the series? Today I will be trying to solve that.
In these posts I will be continuing a series, starting a series, and ending a series.
All books will be from my physical TBR please enjoy!
Start a series
Book 1
The Eternity Gate by Katherine Briggs

Destroy the key. Save her people and herself.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was so excited for this book!
All of the books I have read by Enclave publishers have been either big hits or highly entertaining and interesting concepts. So of course, when I saw Eternity Gate I was interested.
In this novel we follow a girl who is training to be a priestess, but some part of her still longs for adventures. So, on the eve of her 17th birthday, she explores hidden tunnels and comes across secrets that were buried from even the archives. We follow her through different kingdoms, fake identities, and learning about herself.
This story is very well put together! But for some reason when I went into it, I was expecting more action-fantasy less political-fantasy which is what it felt like to me. Beautiful world building and characters. Overall an enjoyable time.

Book 2
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

Ambition will fuel him. Competition will drive him. But power has its price.
⭐⭐⭐
Yeah… I didn’t love it.
Hear me out! I adored when Lucy Gray sang, her character was magical <3 but quite honestly, I didn’t like or MMC – Coriolanus Snow. He was to in his head, to full of his family name. I loved the world and the settings as I always do with a Suzanne Collins book. But this one just didn’t hit the same as the original trilogy.
Finish a Series
Book 3
Fearless by Lauren Roberts

Forever my undoing.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Screams with tears running down my face
Why must Lauren do this to us?!
I don’t quite know how to wrap this book up here because I don’t want to give any spoilers. But to simplify my feelings for this book it was a lot of:
“Kai!! Hehehe” then I would grin a silly little grin because. Excuse me? Who can write a man so amazing? And then Pae would come into the picture, and I would be like “Show them who you are girl. Kick their butts!” I would end up cheering for them and then as all of Lauren’s books do it ended up with me in tears.
Couldn’t recommend this book more!
Thank you all so much for reading!! if you have read any of these books please drop your thoughts below!
Be brave, fight hard.
